They are a game changer, I can hear a very audible difference between parallel frets. But that being said I still love my parallel fret basses. It's not so different that I'd never use parallel frets again

Turns out taping it did fix it. The pickups work independently now . Thanks guys .

Thanks man, does it look wired correctly ? I'll try putting some tape to shield the wires from each other and see if it fixes it

Update: I tapped both pickups with a magnetic piece of metal, it turns out both are on no matter which way I turn the knob. Based on the sound it seems like it's wired: series>parallel>series.

I wonder how the one I have is positioned? It seems to look a bit different. But truth be told I'm not attached to keeping it. It seems too difficult for me to know how to wire it haha

Yea i might do just that. Get myself a regular blend pot and take this one out.

Thanks man that's a good idea with the screw driver . If it isn't working, I might purchase a new blend pot and if my bridge pickup is faulty, maybe a new bridge pickup. On a side note, does anyone know how to wire a blend pot to go "bridge-bridge/neck(parallel)-bridge/neck(series)-neck"?
