Thanks for the input. I think they're pretty common issues, easy/cheap to fix, but also fine to ignore forever while enjoying that tasty warm ampeg goodness.

I just wanted to report back that, YES, running a blonde into the EXT amp jack on the back of the V4B does indeed sound and respond a LOT like a Fender tube amp. A LOT.
