    It seems like "try before you buy" is virtually impossible outside the biggest brands

    I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, so it's vertually impossible to try before I buy. I look for returns allowed.

    Favorite lightweight bass cab with good low-end?

    I have a Mesa Boogie Subway series 115 cab, that has great tone. It is very light weight, great bottom. I also have Bergantino AE 112 cabs. Same story. Light weight, great bottom. Great tone.

    Do all G&L ASAT basses have head drop? I am thinking about buying a semi hollow ASAT. I have heard that is a con to that guitar.
