$500.00 minimum is what I was told I could get for it from the dude at Guitar Center....after it's fixed up. I think I may fix it up and trade it for a decent 6 string....

I actually think the neck is finished.,..it resembles the neck of a standing Bass, just on a smaller scale. It does appear to be a fretless neck, just taken to a whole nutha level with the missing fret lines near the body..

Wood too expensive to make it marketable...that's interesting..LOL...The body and head stock are indeed original in comparison to most of the guitars (6 or 4 string) i have come in contact with...

I know alot for not knowing much, because I know alot...I know alot about the stringed instrument...in most all categories..however, this bass has sparked my curiousity...plus I already pointed out the error in my ways on the name of this thread earlier on....Therefore, young lady, the hope for...

It could be home made I suppose, but man....for someone to take the time to build it and leave it behind in an apartment is beyond me!!

The neck pickup is not crooked...the picture may make it appear that way, but it isn't. I don't think this one is home made...If it is, it's incredibly well home made. Plus, most people who make a homemade Bass probably wouldn't use the type of wood that was used for this one..

The neck and truss rod are indeed good...just from scoping it with the naked eye..she looks perfect to me. I will need to adjust the bridge, but the neck has the perfect arc to it....I can see her playing sweetly once I adjust the bridge properly..

well, I don't have a pic of the headstock...however, it has 3 keys on the left, one on the right as you are looking at the face of the headstock. Does that help? the darkwood continues from the tip of the body to the tip of the stock...the rest appears to be laminated to said darkwood.

Dudes...pay attention...I'm asking if it's worth fixing up...It needs tuning keys and a new nut....I want to know if it's worth paying all that money to fix it up...that is all...

OK, maybe the name of the topic was wrong, I didn't mean I intend to sell it upon finding out what it's worth...I just thought this would be a good place to find out if this is a good bass that is worth keeping or not...I meant no offense to the dedicated guys on these forums...

A shot of the headstock won't help...there's not a brand name to be found on this thing.
