... Thanks--Would love to know what gave Tom Peterson that crunch (on Dream Police, for ex)--no one else sounds like that. I recall his bass was atypical, can't remember what he used.- Sledgematic

Effects recommendations
Welcome any suggestions for bass effects for a rock/blues/funk trio to add a different dimension during electric guitar solos. Looking for something subtle-ish and not overly weird or distracting. I've heard good things about Octave pedals and envelope filters. Thanks y'all!- Sledgematic
