I've spoken to Chris via email, we are putting the build on hold not cancelling it and he's going to put the wood we selected (beautiful piece of crotched walnut) aside until I'm in a position to continue.

Parchment looks great, if the burgundy was more in your face definitely the white but it's sort of a muted tone so it works better with the parchment which is also a softer tone.

He has most of them but it's been spread over about 8 months which is the only real concern. I probably should do a consolidated list but either way if something gets missed i know it'll sound amazing and play just as well.

my bass was supposed to be started last week but I haven't heard anything. Desperately trying to give him some space and not nag about the progress. I'm a little bit nervous there was a lot of small details I'm hoping don't get missed and a bunch we hadn't settled on yet.

At the end of the day I'd prefer it was late then rushed. This will be my fourth stammie and second build. Even if he quoted 12-14 months I would have still put my money down.
