It is an Aria, and glad to hear that I can save a little by keeping those pickups. However, being a newbie at this I still have endless questions. What exactly are these series/parallel options and do I have to get a special preamp to accomodate these or do I just wire in a switch or two...

I didn't even think of that! I would like to spend less than $125 but I could be convinced otherwise. Also it looks like there are 5 wires coming out of each pickup, how do I know where each one goes?
