Club Bergantino! Let's See Those Rigs!

I, sometimes, use an AE210 and a Little Mark III. It works well for medium sized stages.

    Yorkville/Traynor Club?! Part 2

I've used 2x TC112 cabs with a Markbass LMiii with great success (punchy with lots of bottom and loud...) BUT YOU HAVE TO BREAK 'EM IN!!! They tend to sound 'peaky-upper mids' until they have been used for a while. I think that's why I found so many 'almost new' used ones for good prices!

    OFFICIAL Steinberger Synapse club

Hi; Been using a Synapse custom 4 string fretted (burgundy) as my 'transit' bass for a few years now and it has been a rock solid performer. Using some D'Addario Double-ball ESXL170 strings, Markbass LMiii into a Bergantino AE210 cab. A very manageable, lightweight rig... civilized for an 'old...

LM II with Traynor TC112 cabs

I am using a LMIII with 2 Traynor TC112 cabs. I had no problem getting a good punchy sound with 500watts into 4 ohms. The Celestion BN12-300X speakers are a little 'thin' when new but once 'broken in', they do have a nice warm bottom. There is a 2-2k5 peak that can be handled with the VLF...

    The new Traynor cabs-My experience

I have been using Traynor ( and Yorkville) cabs for a long, long time and they have NEVER let me down. I have found a Markbass LM III head is a great match with two TC112s for a lightweight rig (under 60lbs total) and a SA450 with a BC210 and a TC115 for even more serious bottom.

    Traynor anyone?

I am using Markbass LMIII or SA450 with Traynor cabs (two TC112 or TC115 and BC210) and have been very happy. The cabs are very well made and 'bark' nicely... if required! cheers; D

Official Markbass club - it just keeps on going!

I've been enjoying my LMIII for 4 months now and really appreciate its light weight. I leave cabs at each practice location (3 bands) and carry just the MB head and a Steinberger bass on public transit. So far so good! I am thinking of getting a second MB head as a backup. I have a line on a...

Hi Bill; I've been playin' AT bass since '69. Got my first real bass in '71 ( a '63 Precision... that has been retired). Took a course from Grant McNeill and built a wonderful, but heavy 'Twelfth Fret' bass in '84. I use it mostly for studio work (S.D. Basslines SMB-4a) in the PBass 'sweet...

    Yorkville/Traynor Club?!

It is neat to see the interest in 15's again. I was in the middle of 'downsizing' to TC112 NEO cabs. IMHO, I kinda liked the first one I bought... BUT it has an upper mid peak due to the BN12-300x 'greeny' and is a little 'woolly' down low. Sooo.... I am picking up a TC115. The QSC GX3 amp in...

I think I should probably jump in here somewhere... Born in Tranna... still live here (Queen West)! Been playin' since '69 (like Brian Adams' song!)... 63 PBass (retired), Twelfth Fret P-bass... sortof, Musicman Sterling and Steinberger Synapse Custom 4 (my subway/bus bass). Was Traynor 400BH...

    Yorkville/Traynor Club?!

Tryin' to lighten my load... checkin' out TC112 (maybe 2)... are they enough for a medium bar gig. Was going to drive them with QSC GX3 (300W RMS per side into 8R) and a Tech21 RBI pre. Any ideas... comments? thanx.

Steinberger Synapse bass, the XQ and "What happened to Musicyo?"

I use a Synapse Custom 4 and am very pleased with it. The finish/construction is very good. The hardware IS original Steinberger and so the tuning is solid. The neck is fast, very rigid with quite good action. The balance is wonderful compared to neck heavy Fenders. EMG pickup IS in the sweet...
