Gigs and Ensembles

Just getting back into it. Played in high-school, sucked (got fired/quit), recording engineer course in '86 (tail-end of analogue/start of digital), that's it. Miss playing and I'm going to start out with an acoustic.

Previously Owned Gear

A Raven P-clone and (I forget the brand) an underpowered 15" p.o.s combo. Girlfriend, normally meek/mild got wacked-out on angel-dust and smashed my guitar through a wall, I rented a bass for one last gig and I was done (1974).

Influences and Teachers

The bass-line in Humble Pie's "Hot and Nasty" got me hooked. Gary Thaine from Uriah Heep was my first, major bass influence.

Hobbies and Interests

Every day's Saturday when you're retired, except Saturday. I've got an old Z3 I like to take care of, I paint psychedelic stuff and I enjoy Canada's liberal cannabis laws.
