    MTD Kingston KZ vs Fender American Standard J

    I've played just about every high end bass out there and for my money MTDs are the most comfortable in terms of weight, neck and playability. To me, playing Fender is like wearing Nike sneakers, they feel (sound) good but they're a little too conventional for my taste.

    Doug Wimbish. Saw a clinic he did a few months back and it was amazing. Suzanne Sterne of Ruby Bullet. Phenomenal female bassist and vocalist. Hardly ever plays in 4/4, MTD artist, really cool stuff.
