    I thought my bass sounded good on stage... until I listened to the recording

    When you recorded, did the sound man mic your rig? I've had sound men mic and use a direct line, I prefer using the line out on my head using the post setting( I run a mpulse mesa boogie), maybe he picked up too much high end from your speakers, or did he record from your head direct?
