I don't know what the strings are since they've been on for before I used the bass so to be safe I'll just tough it out until I get new strings.

On my school's double bass I have been hearing an odd vibration sound when playing something on the A string, while playing pizz style. This has just happened recently, after I moved the bass in a vehicle. I don't think it's a problem with a bump in the fret board because the sound also happens...

Geoff, your videos are amazing! I've realize a lot of mistakes I've been making while playing, and I know what I need to correct. I've gone from BG to DB without help from anyone else and was doing what I felt was right(but actually wrong), but it's nice to see what to do :)

I had this problem before, but over time it has gone away. I think I caused it by over extending my pinky, and putting to much pressure on it.
