Interesting and good to know! Thinking about it I don't really have a problem with it being in parallel. I'd more than likely be trying to blend it anyway. Otherwise I can just put my effect in front of the amp. Only downside there I guess would be the eq affecting things. Thanks for the info!

I've noticed that my Little Mark Vintage effect loop seems to blend with the clean tone in how I understand a parallel loop would. Is this how most LM amps function or is something weird going on?

I've only had the Vintage for a few weeks and so far have only played at lower volumes. Unless I'm mistaken the amount of drive you're going to get will be pretty subtle anyway. I'd be interested to hear how someone dials something in where the limiter makes much of a difference.

I'm looking to order a bag for my Little Mark Vintage head, but I'm a little confused by the options I'm seeing. The Markbass site says I need the Markworld Bag M, but most retailers don't seem to have it. I'm seeing some places say I need the S. Anybody know what's going on here?

It sounds great. I need to learn some real slapping riffs because something about it makes just want to keep slappin'. It's just so tight and punchy sounding.

I picked it up and the head is obviously a repackaged floor model. The cab is a floor model too, but I'm going to swap it in a week or so when they get more in. I guess I'll have to do the same for the head assuming they can get another one. If they can't I guess I'll live with it. There's not...

Good to know about the tone of the Big Bang. I was on the fence between that and the Vintage. I figured with this setup I'd start out in a good place and be able to expand it pretty easily if and when I get to that point.

Yeah, I tried several different cheaper combo amps, but I was ruined after I plugged into that.
