    Jazz Bass Nut Size

    I have a Fender Jazz bassEarly 70s. I am looking for a new nut. The width is 34mm and 3 1/2mm wide. does this size exist or do I have to make one? One last thing, what is the best material to use if I make one? Cheers Steve
