Influences and Teachers

I was inspired to play bass by Gene Simmons at the age of 12. By the age of 16 I had moved past quarters, eighths, and very few sixteenths and was blown away by Geddy Lee. I was a clone.. That lead to more Chris Squire and other progressives until I was 18 and found Jazz.. I had hit the mother for myself, lol. I soaked up Stanley Clark, Jaco, Weather Report, Al Demiola and the like.. While I am passionate about all of these players, I find that I just like to play and write my on grooves and flesh them out with guitar at this point..
