I would love to try both but where I live shops only have lined fretless basses unfortunately, I would love to get an unlined one but it seems a bit difficult to get used to playing fast lines higher up the fretboard. But maybe eventually you get used to it? I really don't like the side dots on...

Yeah that sounds good, however, for me it might be a bit difficult to be in tune on higher fret positions so fretlines would be nice.

THat's what I thought! But when there are fretlines/sidelines involved I always see no side dots on the fret position or they are placed in the middle, there might be a technical difficulty drilling the wood at the same spot for the fretline and side dot maybe?
