    Tony Franklin Signature Bass Club

Can't wait to try this bass with flats, although I do love the mwahhh so if I'm not killing my fretboard I would prefer to stay with that!

So, I got this new bass about a month ago.. What a BEAST! I haven't played anything like it. It came with a perfect setup and tuned perfectly! The P pickup is insane, super punchy, loud with low mids. The J pickup is noiseless and fat – even fatter than the usual single-coils I think (really...

    Relic/Aged P bass body questions

Hey there, I'm on the look for an aged/relic P bass body for a custom bass project. Does anyone know any good maker preferably in the UK/EU? I will be using a Fender p bass neck with it.

    Tony Franklin Signature Bass Club

Good to hear! I mean I still prob need to pay import tax etc because I live in UK and they are US based but still not bad. Oh cool, I used to have a fretless jazz that was set almost completely flat with very low action and never really enjoyed that much because I would get a lot of unpleasant...

Yes, I have already checked them, and it looks amazing. I'm hoping their stuff is legit, because they also sell the TF neck which is great. And a body is super easy to find. Are there any official TF specs on how to setup the TF bass? My impression is that it has higher action than the usual...

    Tony Franklin Signature Bass Club

Hello, I'm thinking about buying a Tony Franklin Fretless Precision Bass. I've listened to online demos, and I like THAT SOUND. However, new ones in the UK are quite expensive (£2.2k-£2.5k). I've seen some used ones on Reverb. Is buying used a good idea, and what's a fair price? I'd prefer a...

Seeking Guidance for Custom Fretless PJ Bass Build

I would love to try both but where I live shops only have lined fretless basses unfortunately, I would love to get an unlined one but it seems a bit difficult to get used to playing fast lines higher up the fretboard. But maybe eventually you get used to it? I really don't like the side dots on...

Seeking Guidance for Custom Fretless PJ Bass Build

Yeah that sounds good, however, for me it might be a bit difficult to be in tune on higher fret positions so fretlines would be nice.

Seeking Guidance for Custom Fretless PJ Bass Build

THat's what I thought! But when there are fretlines/sidelines involved I always see no side dots on the fret position or they are placed in the middle, there might be a technical difficulty drilling the wood at the same spot for the fretline and side dot maybe?

Seeking Guidance for Custom Fretless PJ Bass Build

Hello, I'm in the process of building a custom fretless PJ bass and I find myself needing a bit of advice. I'm contemplating adding fretlines and side dots to my bass, but I'm considering positioning the side dots on the actual fret positions, instead of the standard 'middle' placement. This...

Glad to hear so many positive responses! I live in UK so it should be relatively cheap to order from Germany. I def like the configurator and plethora of options and also there are so many bass demos on their youtube that sound very cool. Many other interesting suggestions as well so I will get...
