    Does anyone recall who produced the bass Amps in the late 60's-early 70's that featured a head that rose up out of cabinet via a motorized mechanism when you turned it in ? Not Ampeg, Guild, Sumn, but ...??????

    Squire jazz bass upgrade project... Options?

    What strings are you fretless players happy with? I play a fretless Jaco Jazz and have been using various nickel platted round wounds. I have been breaking the occasional G string at the bridge.
