Thanks for the reply, I have other 5 string basses but wanted to give a 5 string P a go. I am looking at the Sire P5 as a viable option, as you suggested maybe not initially breaking the bank.

Thanks for the responses. I get having structure to your practice to maximize your time and I do plan what i want/need to work on. I currently use a whiteboard to plan my daily practice, but anything more involved just seems to drain the fun out of the process.

I also get the weird noises for about 5 mins before the battery dies. My only gripe is there is no battery indicator to warn you when it’s dying or when it’s charged. It’s sort of a guessing game both ways.
