In French une basse is feminine, because meow. Or should I say, miaou. In Spanish un bajo is masculine because es mas macho. In English you should ask you instrument its pronouns, politely and without intruding too much.

No I don't know them to be good, or bad. Good idea, I also have a guitar amp with preamp tubes, I'll try swapping tubes with it. Thanks. =)

Yeah that's why I even hesitated, it seems so unlikely to get 2 bad tubes. But I guess it's 2020 so... :D

This is the first time I've tried to replace tubes. They're the preamp tubes of a hybrid head (Mesa Mpulse 600). The original tubes (Mesa 12AX7-A) still work but I heard some scratchy noises, and some ringing, and I thought well maybe it's just time anyways to change them both and I'll be set...
