    Double Bass Advise on fixing a DB!

    Hi! I resently got my hands on a DB witch I'm intend to fix to playable condition. The bass has a lot of reinforcements inside the ribs and my main question is if I should leave this as it is or get rid of it and repair the old cracks again with "normal" cleats?
