Order is still processing for my V7 even though I was told an Oct. 31st estimated ship date - anybody hear anything from sire about these recent delays? Thought mine would have arrived to the US with the batch that came friday - maybe they're still processing it all?

You mean that they should be sending the "expected by Oct. 31st" shipments out on Friday? Or rather that their American office will receive a batch of orders from their factories to then ship?

Has anyone heard from Sire about the batch of basses intended to ship today (the 31st)? I've emailed them and called them three times with no luck getting through to anyone. Any insight would be helpful

How would the neck of a 5 string V7 compare to the neck of a 5 string MIM 2015 Jazz Bass? I string my 5 string EADGC and plan to order a Sire fretless 5 string and apply the same stringing (after some adjustments to the neck and bridge). Just wondering too if anyone has had any success stringing...
