Although I've played on some big concert stages, I prefer the intimacy of clubs and smaller venues. I've been in a number of bands, but mostly I prefer freelance work, recording sessions, and hosting a jam in the Dallas area. I'v been playing bass since 1964 professionally, and my one claim to fame was playing for Bob Kirkpatrick and the R&B Doctors' CD "Going Back To Texas" on JSP Records. Going Back to Texas - Bob Kirkpatrick | Songs, Reviews, Credits | AllMusic I'm always trying to improve my bass playing and musical skills, and try to learn something every time I pick up the bass, or watch another bassist play.
