That is great. Thanks a lot. Moving the pedals around and turning on the buffer in the mxr pre amp seems to eliminate / drastically reduce the problem. Still not ideal as I like the pre amp at the end of the chain for recordings. But the pops are gone.

Why this is happing? When I press the pedals it does this laut "pop". I tried with different amps. Same problem. I am using my active music man P34. When I use my passive fender pbass there is no problem. Is this normal or there is something wrong with my music man? If is normal, is there a...
