    Replaceing 4ohm speakers with 8ohms?

    Im actually running one sub on each side of the amp in stereo mode which puts out 425 watts to each. If I could bridge it by using the middle post it would put out 1475 watts to them at 4 ohms. I take it that running them in series will keep it at 8 ohms and not 4 ohms?

    Interesting so I just plug each of those ends into each bass cab, and the single end into the amp, bridge it out and it will be bridging in 4ohms instead of 2?

    Hi everyone. I have an old pair of PV's 18 inch subs that we use live and I run them stereo on my amp cause they are 4 ohms and the amp cannot be bridged below 4ohms and if I bridge them out and run them parallel then I have 2 ohms. SO I was wondering if I could simply pull the black widows...
