    I don't doubt for a second that this is worth the price, but the price you quoted on the Duncan is mistaken or something. Bills Music sells the SMB-4A for $84.70 with a list price of $121. The real deal is definitely, as always, worth more.

    How much do you have to baby your B string when you play?

    I play a MIM Deluxe Active 5 through a Backline 600 GK head out to a GK BLX series 4x10 and even with my less than top of the line equipment I find no need to baby the low B. The only exception is if I try to use a distortion it immediately turns into a growling monster.

    If you don't like the logo buy a factory mexican/american logo off of ebay (possibly other sites); your only a steam-iron away from a copyright infringement. As long as you don't resell it as the upgrade then I doubt very much anyone would mind.
