    Newb here, is there a sticky or thread for getting started?

    So glad I just found this post. I just got Rocksmith 2014 and my new bass, but felt like it was just teaching me how to memorize what I see on screen instead of really "teaching" me so I decided to look here for any beginner tips before posting. thanks for the link!

    Fernandes basses...under-rated?

    I recently decided to get into the world of bass and ordered a Fernandes Gravity 4 X as my first bass. I considered going with the Deluxe but was short about $100. (Plus the one I got was on sale.) Hoping it turns out well for me as a beginner.
