    Questions about the Yamaha TRBX605FM - Looking for a bass to play Bach with.

    So, I've been thinking lately about building an electric bass with the scale length and tuning of a cello, but fretted. Like a cello-bass or bass-cello or something. Perfect for playing Bach or that bluegrass band I can't remember the name of just now. Is that already a thing or worth doing?
