The one in getting is from a music shop as 'Pre Owed'. I'm guessing the package has been opened and been used in a demo. They're offering 6 months warranty so I'm hoping it's all there. Getting it for a good price.

I think that it's not working because there is no 'B RETURN' The way I see it is that you can mix 'A' and 'B' only if both loops are used. If there is no return to 'B', there is nothing to mix with Loop 'A'. My LS-2 will arrive hopefully tomorrow and I'll be able to fully rest it for real.
