    Breaks are wider than Splits. Google is mistaken. Breaks are wider, since the two coils are offset.

    I found tutorials about setups that say to do the action before intonation. Changing intonation changes the action, so does it matter that much which order to do them?

    The problem noise has been found out. It's clipping, from having the active EQ on bass and treble boost with the volume on full. The soundman set the DI box pad to - 20dB, and the clipping stopped. The battery came with my new bass.

    I was in the headline band at a gig in a small room, maybe big enough for a crowd of 30. The support band drummer played as loud as he wanted. The mix was loud enough that you couldn't hear someone shouting into your ear. Their own followers left before the end of the set.

    How long will it be, before bands get sued over hearing loss. I guess the complaint would need to prove that the accused band did it. I'd rather not be the test case.

    Even with the right earplugs, a few hours 130dB will harm the hearing.
