Speaking of AVRI (well it was on the last page) finally got my hands to test one and god they are nice. Wondering why they are so darn expensive tho. Local shop has a 62 AVRI jazz for $1700, I could get a Pro II for that. Ugh. Dunno what I wanna do now.

Glen Cornick for me too. Heard Bouree and was instantly in love with the instrument. Then, realized many of the the awesome riffs from Yes were Squire and the rest is history. I didn't know bass could "do" that for the longest time.

Whew, thought I was too old for a minute. 29 here. Started at around 18, but never really got into it more than memorizing basslines. Hoping to dig into it for real this time. Good to hear it's never too late.
