Thanks for the thoughts! Any feeling for the difference between the Area J and Model J? Some comments seem to imply that the Model J is more like a P. Dimarzio says more "vintage" for the Area J and I'm not exactly certain what that means. Do you like the area J for a tighter sound in the bridge?
