I played four strings for a lot of years before I got my first five this past spring. I love it. Like others have said it's more than just five lower notes. Drop-D tuning can't match it. I wish I had changed sooner.

My acoustic fretless also has lines. I can't imagine playing without them. I actually enjoy playing acoustic once in awhile. We do it from time to time when it's just the WL and me.
