Influences and Teachers

Alex Webster was the first person who made me go "whoa..." as a bass player (I'd already been playing before I discovered Cannibal Corpse but he really pushed me to try and be more technical).

At the other end of the scale there's James Jamerson who taught me to tone it back and lay down some deceptively simple low-end to the benefit of the song.

Martin Mendez for his ability to play complex littles flourishes but also settle in and add to the depth of the songs without playing anything flashy.

Oliver Riedel because Rammstein have been my favourite band since I was 12!
