    Bernard Edwards of Chic... I heard him and that was it... I was a musical sponge when I was a kid, and I still like everything. Geddy Lee, Mike Manring, and my all time favourite, Percy Jones.. ( Yes, I play fretless...)

    I use Labella Hard rockin' stainless steel .90 to.30 custom gauge on a fretless.. wipe the fingerboard with alcohol to get rid of grunge, and i will boil my strings every couple of months to get the crud off em

    Hey, An excellent forum for the greatest of all musical instruments, the electric bass guitar!! I am 50 years old now, and I started playing at age 13. I play 4 string fretless, and I like all kinds of music, but funk and jazz fusion are my favourites....
