    Having owned a Ric in the past and now playing a BB1024 i've found the Yamaha a much more comfortable bass to play. The sustain is similar on both basses.

    I like the 212 isobaric from Orange. Single cab or stack they sound great.

    Early '80s BC Rich Mockingbird with Dimarzio pups. I sat in for a local groups' bass player and used his Mockingbird. Superb feel and setup on that bass. It played like butter.

    In the mid 70's with a Univox 50 watt head and matching cab much like the one in picture. Gotta start somewhere!

    Thanks tombowlus, i've wanted to add the second cab for a while now. The sound is nice and thick at low volume levels.
