I finally downsized to 3 basses, it was a very difficult task because I really enjoyed playing all of my axes, but It was necessary and now it's done. At the end I kept a P, a J and a PJ; and the winner J was my active Frank. This beauty has a MIM Fender alder body with Fender SCN pickups...

Sheet music is provided for each song, usually 4 per service. I do translate them to chord charts so it's easier for this old eyes during the service.

Played yesterday at church for the first time on this 2024, nice set of songs and thanks God everything went smooth. Busy next 2 weeks playing at 2 events and on the main morning services.

I put a pair of EMG Geezers on my Player P, soon will add a 40HZ on the bridge position.

Love that configuration, my oldest bass is a 1984 MIJ Fender PJ. They have their own voicing when using both pickups. I usually run the P pickup at 100% and the J pickup at 30%-40%. It adds some mids to the mix but you loose some lows. You can get a proper P sound out of them with a 3 way switch...
