Yea it took longer than I expected at that price. Stingrays are amazing basses but horrible for on the resale/used market.

The weight never bothered me and I definitely think the weight of an instrument has a lot to with with how an instrument sounds!

I had to weigh it a few times because I couldn’t believe it either. I’ve had a few stingray specials and almost all of them were in the 8-9 lb range.

It really is awesome in person!
