It looks to me like they just have standard 6mm shafts. I've been thinking about getting some knurled chrome knobs too if I'm already ordering something. I found some standard 6mm knobs too.

I replaced the pickups in my mexican fender jazz bass, and I've had to take it back in to a luthier a few times due to me using the wrong solder. He says to get some new pots because they've been worked on so much that the heat or something has messed them up. I'm not 100% clear on the details...
