Ibanez SRX 500/ 1980 G&L SB-1.
LD150 Line6, 150watts Combo, with FVB Express pedal (stores any four sounds I want and also has a wah pedal) with an upgrade of a 300 watt Carvin 12"(4 ohms).
The LD150 has great built-in effects: Snyth with Chorus, Octaver, and a filter and it also has pretty accurate amp/cab modeling with sick clean, rock, and distortion channels, It's also pretty loud too.
If I need more nut I just mike in this old school Crate, KBA, 60watt, 15" tube combo(it's bottom goes pretty low because of that old 15" but still has amazing range as it is a keyboard amp and can take alot of varied input). Turned up and miked it is way too loud for a catherdral ceiling room that's 30' by 20'. I usually just use the Line6, by itself, here at home.
Gigs and Ensembles
Currently recovering from disk removal and veratbrae fusion. Local clubs when well.
Previously Owned Gear
(Been retired due to injuries (two pinched nerves) for about 10 years now, thats when I started fooling with the bass off and on, Been serious for about three years) Any questions about lighting, trusses, trees, or setup advice, I maybe able to help. I roadied for years with a a bunch of different bands, but to mention a few: Physical Graffitti, Assitant Light Director for almost 2 years, Guitar Tech for a year, Then I worked for Max Creek. I was mainly a grunt(set-up, take down), some lighting setup, sometimes spot light, Them I worked for Joe Crocker as Assistant Light Tech. That was the big show right there. Met alot of cool people but I only did the US and they wouldn't let me have a passport due to some mix up concerning someone's long past problem concerning a small batch of trees :( .
Recovering from recent disk removal and vertabrae
fusion. Should be able to stand and play someday soon, I hope. Right now I'm bedbound and can play if I don't have to hold the weight of the bass.
