Tried the rubber tube under the bridge that did nothing to help thin sound, connected up graphic pedal which just increased the hiss, in the end I put on spare Fishman pick- up and I'm as happy as a sandboy! My Palatino now sounds great.:)

I'm looking to build a flight case for my Palatino as quotes for flight cases were as costly as the bass itself and I think it's a good idea to use the styrofoam. Might try Corelli strings on mine,bridge needed a little adjustment but is fine. G string sounds a bit thin though E A D nice and...

Just bought new PALATINO. Does anyone know if a hardcase is made for Palatino U.S.B. or can suggest another instrument case or similar sized flight case that be suitable for air travel?
