    About 100 days later my Carbine amp is back in town. Big thanks to Mesa. I never tought this could happen. Got to get to my band cave tomorrow and check what has been changed!

    New relay installed. It worked 2 hours and then it all started again. But today the miracle happened, I got an email from Mesa and call from our local distributor. My amp goes back to the factory and mods will be made for free

    Just swapped the yellow speaker wirings so that signal bypass the switching relay. The only drawback is some noise when the power is switched on or off, even if the mute is on. Should be much more reliable now! Have to be tested next week if the amp still cuts out. At least I can go and play...

    The quick and dirty installation of an extra 80x80 mm fan and all fuse holders resoldered. Now the gain is working properly, it can be pushed all the way up if necessary. Still it is cuting out poweramp but I found what is causing it. Just like I thought the switching relay has some malfunctions...

    There are 1 main fuse on the back + 1 thermal fuse on the back (connected to the main power transformer) + 2 fuses inside on PCB (one is covered with plastic shield).
