Previously Owned Gear

Jackson 5-string which was heavy and sounded no better than the Ibanez Soundgear 4string I had later. I don't remember the practice amps.

G.A.S. List

Prolly another TBird, maybe an explorer for the look; I'd have to play more basses to make a playability wish list. I couldn't name the amps and processing yet, but I have a basic sound in mind that I want, and I def want a pedal for just a bit of distortion that stays this side of fuzz.

Influences and Teachers

IF ONLY I could sound a fraction as good as Geezer Butler, Chris Squire and Justin Chancellor. (I swear Chancellor is Squire's musical son - just listen to "South Side of the Sky" by Tool or "The Pot" by Yes to see what I mean.) Ultimately I like bass lines that add colors to the song rather than just back it. My fave drummer list would show the same preference.
