    I should also say that sometimes I go a few years between using it and the strings are almost always STILL IN TUNE! What think ye of that?

    I noticed some folks were looking for a Ventura Bass made around 1970 or so. I have a four string that I bought new in 1971. I have played it off and on for 38 years and I am STILL using THE ORIGINAL STRINGS! Comments on its value? Comments on the string life?
