    The guy from the first video has a bunch of other useful homemade tools as well. Band saw, drill press etc. I'm going to build the portable drill guide.

    Hey Hugo, I came across these videos on YouTube I figured since you use mainly hand tools these may help you out some. They are quite ingenious.

    Wow you could almost do a multi scale with that if you had a way to isolate the strings. It would look cool at any rate having them aligned in an angle. Love the ingenuity in this rebuild. Any sound bites?

    Nice, I'm getting ready to build an acoustic bass from scratch and I was wondering if it would still give you that nice bass sound without changing the bracing on the bass side of the sound board.
