I thought that mid-cut knob was to cut the mids so you leave the mids for the guitarplayers to fill? So you don't have in the typical metal riffing no "whooph"-ing?

Well, I miss the growly punchy low end on my 410 alone, the rambling in your guts I like to call it, I play metal, I want to create some thunder xD When I play on 610/810 I love it, also on the tower that broke my amp, the 210+215 combi it was great. But on my 410 I just can't find "that"...

So I will find a tech to make the 800RB alive and my 4x10 cab is 8 ohms, so I have to find a 1x15 with 8 ohms to get really happy while playing again? My location is the Netherlands

My budget will depend on how much it will be to get the 800RB alive again...

Because I really loved the sound when I plugged into the big Trace-tower, or a 6x10 or an 8x10 or any bigger tower, 4x10+1x15.. But I miss it on my 4x10 Ashdown cab.. So I guess I answered here my own question :P

I like the 800RB, but I miss a little bit low-end punch without sucking the sound of the guitars away, maybe adding a 1x15 cab will do that trick?

In my band it's the other way around :P I guess I have to pay attention more and care a bit more... Guess I have to find a cheap amp-tech now :P
