450+ watts with the GK/Ampeg 4x10 blh with a Carvin PB150 15" Combo, BOTH rigs connected together through a Bass+ Preamp....i get some really gnarly sound when both amps turned on
I personaly own 3 basses and 2 amp/cab rigs and very rarely gig...im looking into buying a $2k+ Warwick Thumb or Fortress...owning guitars is no different than someone owning a hiney load of cars that they will rarely or never drive.....
I'll personaly stick with my good ole PRS bass before i waste my $ on Gibson, Fender or any of the other manufacturers where your paying more for the name rather than quality anymore
Well so far it looks like I'll be doing more research on GK and GB amps....I've looked in Mesa's and unless it's used they are a bit pricey for my budget....I could dame the same about the GB amps but as I mentioned earlier the GC here has a used GBE 1200 for $600 that I may be stopping in and...
Thanks for the suggestions guys.....I've been thinking about ditching the carvin 115 and just going with the ampeg 410 hlf....I've been looking into either a GK MB500 of RB700 II......I've seen a Genz-Benz GBE 1200 at my local GC but havent tried it thinking it would be WAY too much for my cab.....
I currently have a Carvin ProBass 150 head powering a Carvin 110 (400 watt)cab and a Ampeg BXT 410 HLF (600 watt).......This combo serves it purposes as a low power practice rig but im looking to expand sonicly from my basement to a couple houses past mine (if you catch my meaning)......im...
