Problem solved. Changed the Blend pot and everything worked just fine; apparently that old blend pot only worked with the previous preamp on the bass (the Bartolini TBIBT). In the meantime, i simply "borrowed" the blend pot from another of my basses that also has an Aguilar OBP-3 in it, and...
