    aguilar vs bartolini? + pickup questions

    I'm about to pull out my Bart preamp + trade it out for the Aguilar. :) Just ordered it from Sweetwater. I a/b'd a Modulus Q5 w/Aguilar against a Q6 w/Barts. I couldn't get the grit, punch, or general tone out of the 6 string that is the hallmark of the 5, with the same strings...
