Ok, I must be really dumb or incredibly unlucky. Here's the deal. I bought a new GK MB112. Awesome amp! Sounds great and is very light. However, when I try to use the XLR Direct out I don't get any signal. I also purchased a new MXR Bass Preamp with a 1/4" line out and a XLR Direct out. Guess...

Funny, that is exactly where I'm ending up. Turbo tuner, MXR preamp and compressor already on the new board. Envelope filter and octave deluxe inbound. I'm not making a decision on the fuzz yet because I can't remember the last time I used it.

Weird, I plug an XLR cable into the direct out and then into my PA but it doesn't seem to work. I've only had the amp for about a month, am I missing something?

I have a GK MB112. When I plug into the direct out should it turn off the speaker?

To each their own, I guess... I love the way the 3+2 looks and functions!

I'm looking for a preamp (pedal size) that will allow me to go directly into a mixer and that sounds like my GK amp. Does such a thing exist?

Question... The 112MBP I just purchased has a painted black surface. My 112 MB-ii is tolex. Is there a 112 MBP-ii with tolex? Also, the rubber feet of my 112MB don't fit in the indents on the top of my 112MBP, is this normal?

So, I've gigged with my MB112 and it's AWESOME! I had a Peavey TNT115 and frankly the GK cuts through the mix better than the Peavey. And today my MBP112 showed up on my doorstep. I can't wait to hear how good it will sound now!

Ok, so when I said "small" board I was not referring to needing micro pedals. I was referring to number of pedals. Meaning, only four or five pedals. I'm also hoping to keep the cost under $200 per pedal. Thanks.
