Hey Virgil, Nick told me it will handle 2ohms but just not for a long gig. If it's an hour or so, he said it was fine. That's what he told me anyway. I'm so cautious I probably never will chance it though. Just thought I would pass on the info. And yes, the 501 is a workhorse and a tone beast...

Welcome to the club, Crowella. You need to get a UL501 amp. It's the best! It will blow that TH500 out of the water!

My 4ohm UL2-410 NEVER gets "lost" in any mix. But I did have that problem with my UL2-310. Go figure! However I also had an old T-310NYC and that cab kicked like a mule! It was so dang heavy though. Absolutely loved the sound of that old cab. I'd love to hear my UL501 through it!
